Citizenship and Immigration Canada allow international students to work in specific situations. Typically, students are required to arrive with sufficient money for living and school expenses. However, in certain cases, an international student can work during study. They may work on campus (without a permit), off-campus with a permit, off campus as part of Work Co-Operative programs where the work experience is a part of their program curriculum (needs work permit).
