**NEW Property Transfer Tax Exemption rules effective February 19, 2014. The new 2014 Provincial Budget helps First Time Home Buyers by raising the Exemption limit to $475,000 from $425,000. Please note that there are complex rules related to property size over 0.5 hectares and based on proportional land value that this calculator does not account for. This calculator should only be used for estimates for common residential home purchases (residential lots less than 13 standard lot sizes).
